Barcelona to Host Historic Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in La Liga over two years after they moved out to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.
Recent Activities
Barcelona held a public practice at the Camp Nou earlier this month. The club said approval is being pursued by UEFA to host the next European match facing Eintracht on 9 December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
